Foundation Scripture:
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing, and perfect will."

Here at The Gathering, we believe in the power of individual and corporate worship. We believe that worship is more than just a time in the service for music and singing. We believe it is a way of life.

Part I: Who is God?
Exodus 34:14 "for you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is jealous, is a jealous God" (NKJ)
We read that God is a jealous God...he values His relationship with you so much that he demands that you worship no other god. He actually rejoices over you with singing! (Zep 3:17)
God loves you with a perfect love--an unquenchable, insatiable, immeasurable, inexhaustible, irrepressible, irrational, inescapable love.
HE LOVES YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE - HIS SON, HIS DAUGHTER, HIS LOST ONE, HIS FOUND ONE.
