Ray and Jan Hollis are co-founders and Senior Pastors of The Gathering in Oklahoma City. They began ministry as Youth Pastors more than two decades ago. Ray also served as Minister of Music, has written numerous songs and has recorded several solo projects. He led worship at conferences and venues alongside other Christian artists including Lincoln Brewster, DC Talk, Israel Houghten, Newsboys, Out of Eden and Skillet. Jan is a Nationally Certified Interpreter and the Pastor to the Deaf at The Gathering. She has the ability to communicate the message and the "spirit" of what is being preached. She is also a favorite at women’s retreats. Ray and Jan have spoken in churches, conventions and events nationally and internationally. The Gathering is the culmination of their years of exciting ministry experience.

Ray’s studies are in the area of Music and Organizational Psychology. He attended Arkansas State University, the University of Arkansas and is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University. Jan’s studies are in the area of the Deaf Culture and Sign Language. She attended the University of Arkansas and is a graduate of Oklahoma State University.

Ray and Jan have three children. Two are them are Deaf. Their youngest, Adam, recently graduated from high school and works as a civilian for the Department of Defense. Rachel graduated Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. Bethany is their oldest. She is hearing and leads worship at The Gathering. Bethany owns and operates Barak Salon. She is married to Matt Fansher, Director of Player Development and Coach Education for the Oklahoma Soccer Association. Ray and Jan have three grandchildren… Preston, Jayeden and Maximilian.

Dr. Willie Means graduated in 1977 from Clearwater Christian College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then went on to Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where he graduated in 1983 with a Master of Divinity Degree. With the desire to receive his Doctor of Ministry Degree, he went on to Northern Baptist Theological Seminary where he graduated in 1996. He and his wife, Sally are the parents of 3 adult sons (Adam, Aaron, Andrew), and a daughter, Abigail, still at home. Pastor Willie served as the Associate District Superintendent of Church Health and Revitalization for EFCA, Texas-Oklahoma District.  He is currently the Senior Pastor of Community Bible Church , Oklahoma City, OK.  He has also served congregations in Kansas, Iowa and Ohio. Pastor Willie has specialties which include Training Workshops, Coaching, and Turnaround Churches.
